Our Recent and Current Projects

Feasibility study and business case development for the establishment of a battery manufacturing facility in South Africa. The batteries will be used for battery energy storage systems (BESS) to store renewable energy and ensure grid stability.
Feasibility study on the localisation of collision prevention system (CPS) components for trackless mobile machinery (TMM) that are used in the mining industry.
Feasibility study and business case development for the establishment of a metal powder atomisation facility in South Africa. The metal powders will be used as feedstock in various advanced manufacturing processes to produce products and components for industry.
Development of annual business plans for a government funded programme that operates in the South African national system of innovation (NSI).
Development of a concept model for a sector-wide support instrument for a trackless mobile machinery digital twin.

The team at Jatin have a passion for development and have been operating in the enterprise development domain for more than two decades whilst in the employ of the Enterprise Creation for Development group at the CSIR. During this time, the team has been recognised for its pioneering role in SMME development. Having worked at the CSIR, the colleagues at Jatin have a deep understanding of the National System of Innovation, and the use and commercialisation of both mature and new technologies to achieve impact. The company is therefore ideally placed to undertake technology-intensive initiatives.
